What is paint correction?
Paint correction is the process of removing unwanted imperfections on a vehicle’s clear coat with the use of polishing pads, a cutting compound and in some cases, a machine polisher.
Minor scratches, spider webbing, swirl marks, minerals, wax and deep water spots are common blemishes that may be removed with paint correction.
Depending on the severity of blemishes, this process may be completed in multiple stages. The stages represent the levels of correction that will be performed on the vehicle’s clear coat. The result is a seamless finish that should be reflected in the sunlight. For longer lasting results, a Ceramic Coating is often paired with this process.
